The shopping and wrapping are done -- everything is under the tree and awaiting Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. It's a much smaller pile of presents due to our finances, but every package was wrapped with loving care, and we are celebrating Jesus' birthday and not our own, anyway, right?

Every time I get a glimpse of your home, Susanne, I have to remind myself that it's in Southern Cal. It has such a Pacific Northwest cabin look to it, I expect to see the Cascades in the background. Very cozy!
Your tree is very pretty. Ours should get decorated tomorrow and I have to say most of my shopping is done, but nothing is wrapped yet!
