Wednesday: Seder Meal

On Wednesday evening I joined the Anglicans for their Instructional Seder. My friends Luke and Sheri came along, and we had a lovely time sharing in a great meal and learning the parallels between Passover and the Last Supper.

We also had to fill our wine glasses FOUR times ... well, we didn't fill them ALL the way each time, but it was still a lot of wine for me as I drink so seldom.

Sandie said...: This looks like fun. We did an Agape meal yesterday before service and it sounds very similar to this.

We will have a Traditional Seder on the Wednesday of Passover Week. It is years like this one that that tick me off that the Christian calendar is Solar and the Jewish one is Lunar.; March 21, 2008 at 8:35 AM

About Project 365

Project 365 started in January of 2007 with about fifteen online friends from the United States and beyond who resolved to post "A Photo A Day." The goal was to learn about photography through daily practice and looking at and commenting upon each others' work.

Several devoted photographers kept going in January of 2008 while most of us resorted to less-rigorous schedules of posting our photographs. But in January of 2009, about ten (perhaps more!) of us were back in the saddle, ready to shoot, post, and learn. Most of their blog sites are listed further down the sidebar if you'd like to view their work.

I took another break for 2010 but am back for 365 for 2011 with a new Facebook group of friends, many of whom you'll find in the sidebar.

I am using a simple point-and-shoot camera, an Olympus Stylus 740. Many of my fellow photographers are using far better cameras, so the quality of my photographs will in no way equal theirs. However, I still hope to "learn to see" better this year as I jump back into Project 365.
