Day 21: Dash the Player

Dash our dachshund is simply adorable. Here he is double-playing: chewing on his bone and playing "soccer" with his tennis ball, batting it back and forth between his front paws. How he manages to do both at the same time, I don't know. But it's the cutest thing!

(And definitely FAR cuter than my bizarre kitchen carpeting. Yes, kitchen *carpeting.* Long story about why it's still here after we've lived here for over seven years.)

Unknown said...: Hey! I just got the stupid fan/light fixture removed from my house after a little over 13yrs, so I guess you have a ways to go yet. LOL! I have a lot of other things that I would like to change too, but they cost way more, so they will be a while longer before they happen.; January 30, 2009 at 10:43 PM

About Project 365

Project 365 started in January of 2007 with about fifteen online friends from the United States and beyond who resolved to post "A Photo A Day." The goal was to learn about photography through daily practice and looking at and commenting upon each others' work.

Several devoted photographers kept going in January of 2008 while most of us resorted to less-rigorous schedules of posting our photographs. But in January of 2009, about ten (perhaps more!) of us were back in the saddle, ready to shoot, post, and learn. Most of their blog sites are listed further down the sidebar if you'd like to view their work.

I took another break for 2010 but am back for 365 for 2011 with a new Facebook group of friends, many of whom you'll find in the sidebar.

I am using a simple point-and-shoot camera, an Olympus Stylus 740. Many of my fellow photographers are using far better cameras, so the quality of my photographs will in no way equal theirs. However, I still hope to "learn to see" better this year as I jump back into Project 365.
