Day 10: Packing Away Christmas

E and I packed away our Christmas decorations, our tree, everything -- an all-day job. It looks as though Christmas never happened. One of my very least favorite jobs. I hate to see the Holy Days go.....

CC said...: Caroline and I packed up all our Christmas things on the 7th. I do it a little at a time -- first the advent calendar, then the stockings, Christmas cards, and then on the 7th, the Christmas tree. Caroline and I keep walking past the spot where we have the Christmas tree and saying, "It looks so empty." Every year it seems that there is one more nativity scene that I can't get myself to put away!; January 11, 2009 at 7:41 AM

About Project 365

Project 365 started in January of 2007 with about fifteen online friends from the United States and beyond who resolved to post "A Photo A Day." The goal was to learn about photography through daily practice and looking at and commenting upon each others' work.

Several devoted photographers kept going in January of 2008 while most of us resorted to less-rigorous schedules of posting our photographs. But in January of 2009, about ten (perhaps more!) of us were back in the saddle, ready to shoot, post, and learn. Most of their blog sites are listed further down the sidebar if you'd like to view their work.

I took another break for 2010 but am back for 365 for 2011 with a new Facebook group of friends, many of whom you'll find in the sidebar.

I am using a simple point-and-shoot camera, an Olympus Stylus 740. Many of my fellow photographers are using far better cameras, so the quality of my photographs will in no way equal theirs. However, I still hope to "learn to see" better this year as I jump back into Project 365.
