Summer Flowers

July and August are the hollyhocks' glory days. They line up against my fence, their blooms proud and showy. They simply reseed themselves over the winter each year and keep up the slow, year after year.

My climbing roses are going through a second bloom cycle -- the window is next to my desk so the roses greet me through the panes every time I look up.

Beautiful! The hollyhock and the roses. I love the roses on the stone wall.

The color of the roses is just gorgeous, and I love them against the stone.
