Pippins on the Way....

This little Pippin is steadily maturing -- we don't have many apples on the tree this year, and the ones we do have won't be ready until mid-September. But I enjoyed finding this little baby apple hidden among the leaves ... a promise that cooler weather and fall color are on their way, as well as crisp Pippin apples.
