Thursday: Beach Day!
My parents live half a block from the beach, and our family, my brother's kids, and my mom's cousin all descended on them to enjoy at day in the surf and sun. It was a gorgeous, gorgeous day.

ahhhh! The beach looks so inviting! I miss the sound of the ocean, its majesty, the vastness!
How does one make a "drip castle"?
OK; I've been trying to ignore the beach longings....I live closer to the beach now, but it's still a bit far for a day trip, and expensive for overnight...but these photos sure rev up the yearnings!!
And Katrina, you dig til you hit water, then pick up sand from under the water and let it run from the tips of your fingers onto the castle you are building. Great fun, and interesting results.
