In the early afternoon, we had a great thunderstorm: thunder, lightning, and pounding rain. Just after dinner, I captured these thunderheads to the north, where they were probably dumping rain on Julian and its environs.
I love summer rain in the mountains; it's one of my favorite things about living up here rather than down in the city....

Fabulous composition in this shot, Susanne. I love the dark trees in that triangle in the corner against all the billowing light clouds that are winning over the space.
