I was going to say elephant skin but then I saw the file name of the picture....! But I was close :)
Either human skin or a cactus?
My first thought was elephant skin too, but second (and third) would be rhino or hippo.
Sandie got it! It's hippo skin. I got one quick shot of the hippo at the zoo before it started swimming away. Then a crowd of people gathered around its head, and all I could get was a tush shot and then this close-up of its back.
Great picture! I love the coloring of the skin through the water.
