Finally, after three days of humidity worthy of Miami and afternoons of dry thunder and lightning, the rain poured out of the sky at last. Our front porch steps were inundated and puddles quickly formed around the yard, some of which are still here 24 hours later. And it's clouding up again this afternoon; we're keeping our fingers crossed for more of the wet stuff.
