I need to go to a doctor's office for chelation therapy. Esperanza hooks me up to a bag of chelating fluids, and there I sit for two hours, IV in my right arm because that's where my "good" vein is. (Not bad for a left-handed photo, I thought.) The chelating medication binds to the heavy metals so my body can flush them out. I used to have to go weekly; now it's only monthly.
At least they had this week's
People magazine on hand....

I remember when my mom had to go get 'hooked up' once every three weeks for a whole day... it can really wear you out, even if you feel better later.
This is a very personal self-portrait, very powerful.
At first I thought you had on my bracelet. ;-) I have seen chelation therapy being "done" at my alternative doc's office. Can you tell a difference? Feeling better?
I really like this photo...it says a lot.

I can't tell a difference right away, but the cumulative effect is very encouraging. My heavy metal numbers were way down on the last report, and I am finding I have more energy. And it was the doctor at this office who made the Addison's connection that is so promising right now....
