School Daze....

I caught the boys doing school today; usually they don't like me to take photos of them. So they rebelled....

T made the sign and talked the other boys into making angry expressions, although he himself couldn't hold his mad face. But then someone got his feelings hurt....

It's hard being the youngest! Those are real tears splattering his shirt, along with a crumpled sign (and face). He gave me permission to post his; in fact, he laughed at his tearful photo tonight. Peace restored. And I'll ask permission before snapping their photo again, I guess... NOT!

About Project 365

Project 365 started in January of 2007 with about fifteen online friends from the United States and beyond who resolved to post "A Photo A Day." The goal was to learn about photography through daily practice and looking at and commenting upon each others' work.

Several devoted photographers kept going in January of 2008 while most of us resorted to less-rigorous schedules of posting our photographs. But in January of 2009, about ten (perhaps more!) of us were back in the saddle, ready to shoot, post, and learn. Most of their blog sites are listed further down the sidebar if you'd like to view their work.

I took another break for 2010 but am back for 365 for 2011 with a new Facebook group of friends, many of whom you'll find in the sidebar.

I am using a simple point-and-shoot camera, an Olympus Stylus 740. Many of my fellow photographers are using far better cameras, so the quality of my photographs will in no way equal theirs. However, I still hope to "learn to see" better this year as I jump back into Project 365.
